Accessing the School's printers

Set the following in your /etc/cups/cupsd.conf

  BrowseRemoteProtocols all
  BrowseAllow all 
  BrowseOrder allow,deny
  BrowsePoll printhost.cs.bham.ac.uk:631

and comment out any other BrowseAllow/BrowseDeny lines and then type:

sudo killall cupsd

You should have the School printers available in the "Default" tab in the add printer (+) dialog.
